Wolfpack-Power

the film label with its finger on the pulse..

Founded in 2003 as an online shop, Wolfpack Power moved into the realm of audio-visual media production in 2005. Alongside audio and audiovisual media, licensing, wholesale and retail elements are key factors. The four-man Wolfpack-Power team led by owner Kim Witzenleiter has been headquartered in the film and media centre of Ludwigsburg since 2008 and within a short time, has carved out a name for itself, and not just as an ambitious film and music label. Thanks to partnerships with CMS GmbH (a leading distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland), CMM in the realm of music production and AT Medien in the film promotion sector, Wolfpack-Power can avail itself of professional channels and offer its products via almost all the main dealers. Additionally, our partners in non-German speaking countries have allowed us to appear on further lists. Now that Wolfpack-Power products are available in the USA, Japan, France and Great Britain, we are seeking further sales and promotional partners to gain a long-term presence in all the important international locations.

The Wolfpack-Power film label obtains licences for national and international films, TV productions and documentaries. The DVDs are then targeted via a sales partner at commercial buyers in the German-speaking countries. With an emphasis on independent, low and no-budget films made in the German-speaking arena, Wolfpack-Power aims to reach a young public interested in experimental film, a market with growth potential. True to the principle of independent cinema, Wolfpack-Power Film Productions’ DVDs always demonstrate a certain flair and impart an individual message. From time to time, Wolfpack-Power takes on scripts to make into films – so an aspiring author will always find it worthwhile to contact Kim Witzenleiter to submit his or her screenplay. Additionally, where a truly outstanding idea is concerned, Wolfpack-Power is ready to join forces with other production companies to bring exciting concepts to fruition. Thanks to long-established contacts with diverse promotion, advertising and graphic design agencies, distributors, retailers and TV and radio companies, the Wolfpack-Power label enjoys a relatively high – and continually rising - degree of brand awareness for such a young film label. Recently, some intriguing films such as "Suffer and Die", "Wer ist eigentlich... Paul?" or "Winternachtstraum Festival DVD" have once again thrown Wolfpack Power into the limelight. In all, the film label department has a wide range of DVDs, to suit almost every taste.

Another important facet of the company is the Wolfpack-Power music label, lending Wolfpack-Power kudos as a records company for all kinds of artists around the world. Japanese stars, such as ‘SHIZU’ have signed contracts with Wolfpack-Power alongside German musical talents. One of these is ‘Minor Complex’ – which has already caused a not-so-minor furore. A band called ‘Nump’ from Würzburg came under Wolfpack-Power’s wing in the summer of 2008, bringing an internationally influenced repertoire to the scene. Since 2007, Wolfpack-Power has been marketing hip hop artists on the sublabel BaBü-Records. This label is purely for champions of the hip-hop scene - currently strong in the Baden Württemberg region. The prestigious label is now well established in hip-hop capitals, thanks to international sales and promotional campaigns partners. What is more, BaBü Records is not limited to one rap genre, but offers everything from gangster rap to fun rap to old school - a truly broad palette of modern hip-hop. The name BaBü-Records came about in connection with a MySpace competition. Besides marketing films and music talents, Wolfpack-Power is highly active in the business area of merchandising, selling t-shirts, mugs etc featuring favourite products and artists for a growing community of aficionados. Wolfpack-Power also sponsors a range of projects with great potential, such as a web-radio (currently) and various events.
