Sadisticum tells the story of a man for whom life presents one task: torturing and killing his fellow human beings. Aged 17 he murdered his first two victims. But he manages to suppress his appetite for many years. For half his life, he battles with this drive and manages to adapt to society – superficially speaking. Yet the void in his life grows steadily until one day it happens – he kills again. This time he is not going to stop – this time he will give his feelings free rein. Yet the brutal ending of life ceases to satisfy him. A steadily growing craving for recognition leads him to found a kind of seminar for the torturer. Here, selected like-minded people would be shown how to torture a person in a manner that carefully avoids premature death. But it doesn’t stop with one seminar. His addiction to attention and admiration leads to unimaginable, ever more horrific types of torture. One day, the story takes a most unexpected turn.
